Kid Rock has released the video for the first single off his new record, due out Feb. 24.

“First Kiss” is the new single and for those of you (like me) who were really hoping Rock would show us some metal, no sign of that on this track.

Watch for yourself below, but it’s as country as the crazy-talented Rock has gotten. TBT sounds as good as ever and I’ll be the first to admit the song is catchy and you’ll be singing it.

While I still want some 1998 Kid Rock to return, he again doesn’t disappoint, as he usually never does, despite the genre.

And live, he still mixes in the rock. So that will have to tide us over until (hopefully) he gives us another rock record.
